Confess this:

I have received God’s overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting me into right standing with Him] and I reign as a king in life through the one Man Jesus Christ. (Based on Romans 5:17)

I was buried therefore with Christ by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, so I too might habitually live and behave in newness of life. I am also one with Him in sharing His resurrection by a new life lived for God. I know that my old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross and crucified with Him in order that my body, which is the instrument of sin, might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that I might no longer be a slave of sin. For I died and I am freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin. (Based on Romans 6:4-7)

I consider myself also dead to sin and my relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. (Based on Romans 6:11)

And having been set free from sin (that evil nature within me: the angry, lustful, stubborn, prideful and selfish nature), I have become a servant of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose and action). I yield my bodily members [and faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing), which leads to sanctification. (Based on Romans 6:18-19)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for me who is in Christ Jesus, because I live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and death. (Based on Romans 8:1-2)

I am not living the life of the flesh; I am living the life of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit of God really dwells within me [directs and controls me]. Christ lives in me, my natural body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, but my spirit is alive because of righteousness. The Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, then He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life my mortal (short-lived, perishable) body through His Spirit Who dwells in me. I walk and live habitually in the Holy Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then I will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh. (Based on Romans 8:9-11 and Galatians 5:16)

Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things; for my mouth will speak truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; nothing crooked or perverse is in them. (Based on Proverbs 8:6-8)
